Celebration Time.  It was another grand ‘do’ last night as we celebrated at the Pelaw Grange Stadium with our 2017 award winners.  Louise Aitken-Walker, the ex Ladies World champion and also achieving a few other firsts for Ladies in rallying, was the special guest for the evening as she provided plenty of interesting conversation about her experiences in rallying before presenting the trophies to the lucky few. An Amazing Woman!

Most people will now be aware that this was David Shield’s last event as he has decided to stand down after 9 years as championship manager.

The good news for next year’s championship is that Neil Prior will step into the void left by David and look after the championship into 2018.  Thanks go to David for all his efforts and best wishes to Neil as he takes up his new role.
